Community Resource Centre (CRC)
The Community Resource Centre (CRC) is the leading resource for Bow Valley residents at critical turning points. The CRC’s primary focus is on safe, affordable housing and family violence prevention through education, programming, events, resource management and crisis intervention. The work of the CRC assists clients in taking the next step forward in their lives. The following is a list of some of the critical services that the CRC provides to for the community.
The YWCA of Banff Community Resource Centre Provides

Services To Anyone -
Male and Female
CRC services include, but are not limited to;
- Short-term crisis intervention including information and referrals to assist women and their families experiencing domestic violence
- Consultations and tools to develop and maintain healthy relationships
- Emergency information and referrals for individuals seeking assistance from other local agencies (e.g. Alberta Employment Immigration and Industry, Alberta Mental Health Board)
- Landlord and Tenant forms and information
- Childcare Registry for Banff
- Volunteer opportunities
- Community education and prevention programming.
- Community outreach events (e.g. Annual Easter and Halloween Party)
- Job boards, resources, free pamphlets and community information
- Home to the Banff Volunteer Centre

Hours of Operation
Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm (closed from 12 pm – 1 pm for lunch)
Saturday, Sunday and after hours weekdays - CRC can be accessed through the Front Desk of the Banff Y Mountain Lodge
